This waterfall is a must-see when visiting western Oregon. Just an hour outside of Portland is a series of stunning waterfalls along the Historic Columbia River Highway, the most famous being Multnomah Falls. You can purchase a one day pass to visit for only $2 on recreation.gov (make sure to do this ahead of time to get your desired time slot). I was lucky enough to visit the falls twice this year, the first being at the beginning of June when it was much more lush and the water was flowing quite a bit more than at the end of summer. β’ If you like hiking there are SO many trails connecting several waterfalls. There is a 2.5 mile out and back trail starting at the base of the falls and is super easy to find!
If you have some extra time I would highly recommend stopping at some other beautiful landmarks along the Historic Columbia River Highway
