Such an important part of the travel industry is transparency when it comes to pricing on flights, attractions, & accommodations. So often you’ll see influencers traveling all the time and it seems so unattainable for the average person. My goal is to help breakdown how much it really costs to travel, and ways to make it more affordable. Here is a breakdown of my weekend in Disneyland budget. ⬇️
FLIGHTS: Spokane WA to Santa Ana CA roundtrip – $110. This was a nonstop flight with Allegiant I found on the app Skyscanner. I know there are a lot of complaints about Allegiant baggage policies, but when you’re on a budget this is your best option.
HOTEL: 3 nights at the Super 8 on Disneyland Drive came out to $129 per person (there were 4 of us on the trip).
DISNEY TICKETS: $250 for a 2 day (1 park per day) pass.
UBER: $45 each (again, there were 4 of us so we were able to split the Ubers from the airport to the hotel, beach, parks, etc.)
Food is always dependent on the person and how much money you want to save. Over the whole weekend I spent about $170 on food, but easily could have spent less if I had packed more snacks and food for the parks. You’re allowed to bring in any outside food or drink (besides alcohol obviously) so if you’re on a tighter budget you could always pack sandwiches & granola bars to get you through the day!

This super cheap flight is what prompted my friends and I to go to Disneyland, there were 4 of us that went so that makes things more affordable splitting the hotel and Uber rides 4 ways! We purchased the regular 1 park per day passes and did not upgrade to the genie plus because we wanted the most affordable option, which was still way overpriced. Theme park vacations can get really expensive really fast ESPECIALLY for big families, which is why we never went to Disney as kids so this was such a special trip 🤍
My total for flights, hotel, park tickets, Uber, AND food was $704 ✈️
