HOW TO SPEND 3 DAYS IN NYC

Read Time:2 Minute, 33 Second

Kicked off our trip off with an overnight flight from Seattle to JFK! This was a 4 and a half hour flight (I anticipated it to be a little longer so we were all very sleep deprived). We started our day at 7 am getting ready in the airport bathroom then headed to the city on the subway!

It can definitely be intimidating to take the subway at first if you don’t live in a city that has well managed public transportation, but it is SO efficient and cost effective to take the subway almost anywhere. If you’re using Apple Maps or Google Maps it tells you exactly what stop to get off at and how many stops there are between your current location and destination.

This day was filled with lots of sight seeing starting with Times Square, Central Park & The Met, then to Battery Park and the Statue of Liberty, then to the 9/11 memorial and World Trade Center, and just as we went to rest at the hotel we stumbled across Radio City Music Hall where the Tony Awards red carpet was happening!! 13 miles later and our feet were ready for a break! There is soooo much to see in New York so definitely bring your best walking shoes 👟🤍

Started our 2nd day off by walking across the Brooklyn Bridge and exploring this amazing part of New York! Had some delicious bagels and fried pickles (yes fried pickles for breakfast don’t judge me) at Time Out Market which has a variety of food options and an incredible rooftop view of the city. After walking around some parks in Brooklyn we took the subway back to Manhattan and got ready for our fancy dinner and Broadway show!! Our dinner at La Masserie was sooo delicious and was a short walk to the Ambassador Theater where we saw Chicago! Definitely splurged on the dinner and show but it is SO worth it to see a Broadway show in New York!! Ended our night with some cheesecake in Times Square and of course another photoshoot 🍰📸

3rd and final day in New York started off at the Museum of Modern Art where we spent our morning and early afternoon admiring pieces from some of the most famous artists in the world. @emilyabatchelder definitely could have spent alllllll day in the MoMa, but alas we had to make our way to our next adventure @fallontonight

Being an audience member for the tonight show was such a fun experience and I had no idea what to expect! Obviously our phones had to be off during the taping so no pics from inside the studio, but we got to see @dakotajohnson @mradamscott and @traceeellisross 🤩 shoutout to my friends for entering to win tickets for the show, if you don’t know it is 100% FREE to go to the tonight show you just have to enter your email and wait in line!!!!

Ended our trip walking through Rockefeller center, past the Empire State Building, and getting pizza from Grimaldis 🍕🏙
